Renting our spaces

Rudbeckia has more than 300 square metres of shared space, and we sometimes rent it out to other associations. It is a way of contributing to the district while bringing in a little income for the association.

What we rent out for

The house meeting has on several occasions supported renting out to associations. What we say yes to is primarily:

• Meetings – above all annual general meetings and other larger meetings that an association only holds once a year or so.
• Local events – for example clothing swaps, flea markets and other activities that are open to the residents of Rosendal.

We do not rent out to private individuals or companies

We only rent out to associations. In other words, we do not rent the spaces out for private parties, corporate events or anything similar – no matter who is asking.

The reason is simple: Rudbeckia is first and foremost a home. The starting point is always that the house should feel safe for everyone who lives here, and that weighs heavier than any single rental.

How to go about renting

Get in touch with the board at kontakt@rudbeckia.nu and tell us:

• Which association you represent
• What kind of event it is
• When, and roughly how many of you there will be

Then we take it from there. The board considers each request individually – including whether the event can go ahead without disturbing the residents – and agrees with you on the space, the time and any compensation.
