Cleaning

The association cleans the shared indoor spaces we use ourselves. They are divided between seven cleaning groups: the office, the roof room, the children’s room, the woodworking shop, the gym, the living room and the dining hall. Every house member belongs to a group.

The association previously had a cleaning agreement with the landlord covering the more public areas – stairwells, entrances, bike rooms and the basement – in return for a monthly payment. That agreement has been terminated: we no longer clean for the landlord, only the spaces we use ourselves.

Cleaning is therefore no longer a source of income for the association. Instead we receive compensation from Hemvist for keeping the collective alive and for interviewing new house members.
