The roof terrace

There is not much to say about the roof terrace, other than that the view is fantastic — the cathedral and the castle can be seen on the horizon.

• We have built a pleasant lounge where many a summer evening has been spent.
• Sometimes we bring up a paddling pool for the children to cool off on hot summer days.
• We grow various vegetables and berries in the many planting boxes.
• If we have a gathering such as a crayfish party or a fermented herring feast, it is guaranteed to be on the roof.
