House rules

A loosely assembled list of rules that have grown out of need.

  • Avoid disturbing noise between 22.00 and 07.00, for example music with a bass line that carries into your neighbour’s home.
  • Turn off the lights in shared spaces when nobody is there.
  • No unsupervised children in the kitchen. Use the child lock on the kitchen door when needed.
  • Follow the hygiene rules posted in the kitchen so that we avoid food poisoning.
  • Parents of small children are responsible for the playroom being tidied up by the evening at the latest.
  • Do not jump on the sofa — that way it lasts longer.
  • The projector must be switched off when the living room is empty.

After use:

  • Clean the laundry room with a cloth and a mop.
  • Empty the filters in the tumble dryer and the drying cabinet after use.

After use:

  • Bring in any cushions from the lounge.
  • Secure loose furniture that risks blowing away.
  • Bring the barbecue indoors into the roof room.

Are you upset about something a neighbour said or did? Breathe, and then take it up with the neighbour directly. Digital squabbling harms the atmosphere in the house.
